Objective: To update the bathroom in a mid-century modern home located on the east side of the house. In Feng Shui the east represents family and community through the elements of wood and the color green to indicate growth. The update reflects the modernism and harmony of clean lines. There’s also plenty of light and space to move with ease and for natural greenery to thrive.
Objective: To update the kitchen in a mid-century modern home. This high-functioning kitchen reflects a modern organic aesthetic with quartz countertops, natural wood shelves, ceramic tile, stainless appliances, and cork floors.
Concept: This is an ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) approx 950 square-ft., inspired by the Kogan house in Seattle, WA by E.Cobb Architects. Expressive in structure, this soulful home features wrap-around windows and a bubble skylight at the heart of the home above the kitchen which adds an organic element to the cubic structure. This house has an expansive quality of light and space while allowing for comfort and security. Rendered in Revit.

Objective: This is an E-Design project to design a zen multi-use space in a room in the client’s home. This room will serve as an office, yoga space, and art space. In this project, I’ve integrated the elements of Feng Shui to maximize the energy flow (Chi) in the room.
Objective: To update this 400 sq. ft. mobile home is located in the charming beach town of La Conchita, California. The principles of feng shui are applied to maximize energy, space, and comfort. Objective: Student Project – The goal is to redesign and make improvements to an exterior space. I chose to redesign the Getty at the West Rock Fountain for two main reasons, One: I wanted to eliminate the water fountain which uses water only for aesthetic purposes, Two: I wanted to create a universally accessible public space that would complement the existing structure and allow for greenery to thrive. The idea was to add a greenhouse dome atrium made of solar-charged glass panels. It would retain the energy to be used as illumination at night. Inside is comfortable seating for socializing and hanging above are living plant chandeliers. The exterior space is universally accessible, and the height of the platform is retained in a small 4’ section for an additional bench embellished with a mosaic. Small solar-charged lights are embedded in the ground as safety lights during the night.
Objective: Student project – concept for a modern and minimalist materials library and meeting room at Santa Barbara City College. Rendered in Adobe Illustrator.
